Yesterday, I was busy doing a bit of research for a peaches and cream party inspiration board, when suddenly google served up a Peaches and Cream Party link. I clicked on it, and found myself on Jessica Levitt’s blog, Juicy Bits. Does the name sound familiar? Maybe it’s because she was the third place winner of The Most Adorable Kids Party Contest! As my eyes run through the post on her blog, (which she had freshly posted!) I couldn’t believe the peachy fabulous-ness I was seeing, and I thought to myself, ’she’s done it again!’ Jessica has gone and put together another super adorable party! I guess you can sense how excited I am about today’s feature! This party is so choc full of creative ideas and inspiration, and boy am I glad I chose that particular day to search for peaches and cream!

Jessica threw this gorgeous party for her daughter Aurora’s fifth birthday. It was held on a farm, and the main activities were peach picking and ice cream eating…peaches and cream! Jessica made cupcakes with peach shaped toppers, arranged kebabs into a fruit bouquet, and made the cutest peach shaped cake pops on ice cream cones. There were also peach coloured candy bracelets for guests to take home.

She used an array of printed peach-y fabrics as table runners, to create a patchwork-y feel. The adorable centerpieces were wooden boxes that she painted, and her dad made, filled with chunks of wheat grass, and raffia flowers.

Jessica also used the printed fabrics to make garlands, the buffet tablecloth, and to line the baskets that guests used for picking peaches. It was all set up under a tent which was decorated with fabric garlands, and peach paper lanterns strung up with felt leaves. Jessica herself designed the invitations and all the party signage.

Guests enjoyed ice cream in cones with peach cone wraps from the ice cream cart,

and filled their gorgeous fabric- lined baskets with freshly picked peaches to take home. What a fabulous party!
