So after hours of deliberating, and sending emails back and forth between judges, we’ve finally found the Most Adorable Parties of 2009!!! Can you guess which ones? I’m sure you can’t, because even the seasoned judges had a mighty hard time choosing three out of all the adorable parties you submitted. There were just so many amazing entries!! I’m sooo looking forward to next year’s contest, and to seeing all the fabulous parties you plan this year! I’d like to publicly thank the judges: Kim, Chris, Jenn and Kelly for doing such a marvellous job, and for being such great sports. You gals are amazing! And of course, thank you to the wonderful sponsors…mwah!

So on to the business of announcing the winners:

{Drum Roll Please}

The Most Adorable Party of 2009……is

The Vintage Carnival First Birthday Party submitted by Zuesette of Marizette Paperie. Congratulations Zuesette!!! Zuesette wins a 100 USD shopping spree at the InkSpot Workshop, plus a lovely set of mommy plates!  The judges loved this party because there were just sooo many adorable details, the theme was original, and was creatively imprinted on every little detail of the party.

Here’s to your next party! I don’t think I have to say anything more about why this party was so adorable, I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

  1. What darling parties! I don’t think I saw these before. Perhaps they were emailed to you or I somehow missed them. Great picks.

    Hugs,

  2. I feel so honored to have been selected as one of the winners for this year’s 2009 “party of the year”! There’s so much talent that has been shared here – I’m amazed! I’m also completely inspired. Thank you SO much. My heart went into planning the Mini French Bakery themed birthday party for my daughter…I never expected to be entering the results into a contest…let alone being picked as one of the winners. I’m really, really excited about this. Thank you judges. And thank you to all of the other participants who shared their creative talents as well -

  3. oops! I was so excited about my own win that I forgot to congratulate Zuesette of Marizette Paperie and Jessica of Juicy Bits! Congratulations to you both! And thank you to the judges…Kim, Chris, Jenn & Kelly! As well as to Creative Hostess for hosting the contest.
And of course a great big thank you to the sponsors who are sending the winners some marvelous prizes!

  9. I am so honored to have my daughter’s 1st birthday party to be chosen as “2009’s Most Adorable Kid’s Party”… There were truly amazing parties out there! Thank you to all the judges… again, I am so honored! Congratulations to Jess of Pen and Paper Flowers and Jessica of Juicy Bits! Those were absolutely adorable parties as well! Thank you!!

  10. Aurora says:

Cute! The only one I saw before was the construction party (which I loved!), but the other two are just precious too! Congratulations to the winners!

  11. I think the first and third are such great ideas for kids parties, certainly one to save for a special birthday as I bet a fully themed day is expensive?

  12. Jen says:

Heather, it really doesn’t have to be that expensive. It’s about planning in advance so that you don’t get overwhelmed at the last minute. There are lots of Etsy shops where you can get lovely party goods at great prices. If you start planning early, you can buy items over time, and spread the cost.

  13. Congrats to all the winners! I am so proud of all the mommy talent out there!

  14. Thanks for the advice Jen, I guess the more you plan in advance the more you can save AND you get a better party for the kids as well!

  15. Amy says:

    Holy cow! Such adorable ideas!
