Last year mums completely out did themselves, and we saw some pretty amazing children’s parties floating around the blogsphere. Mums got creative with their themes, and parties were fabulously detailed. We saw some swanky dessert tables and candy buffets, some strikingly creative decorations and party favours and some oh so yummy treats. I’m a firm believer in rewarding a job well done, and I believe that mums deserve some recognition and reward for their hard work and creativity in 2009. This is why I’ve decided to host The Most Adorable Kids Party Of 2009 contest, to reward deserving mums and party hostesses for a job well done.

most adorable judges

The winners will be chosen by five talented and adept  judges, who will carefully sift through all the entries, and discerningly choose The Most Adorable Party of 2009.  There are three fabulous prizes to be won, by three deserving party hostesses.

most adorable first prize

The winner of the title Most Adorable Kids Party of 2009, will receive a 100 USD gift certificate to shop at The fabulous InkSpot Workshop, plus a set of adorable mommy plates; a combined value of 118 USD. I highly recommend visiting this amazing shop to take a peek at the fabulously fun, colouful and modern handcrafted stationery. The winner will certainly have fun shopping!

most adorable second prize

The second prize is brought to you by two great Etsy shops. The first runner-up will receive a gorgeous candy bar birthday banner from Seven Cupcakes, one of my favorite party shops on Etsy; plus a fantastic set of twenty four pinwheel cupcake toppers from Gigglesapu. {I love their pinwheel cupcake toppers, so fun!} This prize is worth 35 USD. Again I recommend browsing around these shops, because there’s lots of fun stuff to see.

most adorable third prize

The second runner-up will receive the third and final prize, a fun personalised printable party set, of their choice from Parties by Hardie, with everything you need to host  an awesome party! The set includes printable banners, cupcake toppers, party hats, favour bag toppers, tags, invitations, thank you cards, patterned papers and lots more. Take a peek at Parties By Hardie to see all the fabulous goodies on sale. This prize is worth 25 USD.

Here is the link to my son’s third birthday carnival. Winter birthdays can be hard, but I think we pulled it off! The party was centered around all the carnival games! The kids had a blast playing and winning prizes.

    Hello…
I am very excited about this contest…it’s my first time! Just this year I started a blog because although I have a full time job I just love parties and all the wonderful ideas I have found online! On my blog you can find under the LABEL: DELIGHTFUL EVENT PARTIES all the parties that I have done for my children or friends. I submitted my daughters 3rd Birthday Princess Party via email prior to registering and commenting.
    Thank you,
    Mariela Jane

I think it is so cool that you are doing this contest. I love doing parties for my kids. In 2009 I did a Fancy Nancy party for my four year daughter. Here is the post on my blog. http://akkenner.blogspot.com/2009/08/fancy-nancy-birthday-party-for-kelsie.html

  21. party can be really fun but can also be stressful. However, if you use a planning guide to assist with the plans, your party will be a spectacular party without all the stress that comes along with planning such a special event.
