Party Decoration Ideas:-Mix it up!

Don’t be afraid to hang different types of decorations from your ceiling, as long as you choose co-ordinating shapes & colours, to keep things from looking like a circus! I love the way the girls over at Silly Bee’s Chickadees pulled it together using various shades of yellow tissue balls, tissue pom poms & paper lanterns. Notice how all the decorations are of similar shape, & how the varying shades of yellow add interest. A fabulous decoration idea for pretty much any theme colour! I’m imagining various shades & pink for a little girl’s party & lovely greens for a neutral baby shower. Of course you can mix it up even more if you have two theme colours, for instance fuchsia & orange, or yellow & green.

This picture is so pretty! I just bought some poms off of Etsy (prosttothehost.etsy.com). They look fabulous for the baby shower I am throwing this weekend. I wish I got some lanterns to mix it up as well. Next time!
